I have always thought mascara is one of those makeup products where small details make a huge difference.

A good formula can change the whole feeling of a look, even when I am only wearing a little concealer and some blush. I usually prefer lashes that look lifted and defined but still feel comfortable, so I wanted to compare three L’Oréal mascaras and see how different they feel in my routine.

The rose-gold packaging also gives it a slightly different feeling compared with more minimal mascaras, making it something I would naturally reach for when I want my makeup bag to feel a little more special.

The texture and application feel more focused on creating a fuller appearance. I usually take my time with this kind of mascara because adding too many layers too quickly can make lashes look heavier than I want. I like using it when I am creating a more defined eye look, especially for occasions when I want my lashes to stand out more.

3. ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara

ILIA Limitless Lash Mascara immediately caught my attention because of its clean, minimal packaging and the simple everyday feel it gives. I usually enjoy mascaras that do not make my lashes look too heavy, so I was curious to see how this one would fit into a more natural makeup routine.

What I like about this mascara is the softer finish. The brush looks precise, which makes it easier for me to separate my lashes and build the look slowly. For me, it feels like a good option for mornings when I want my eyes to look more awake but still keep that effortless makeup style. I would probably reach for it on days when I prefer a fresh, polished look rather than very dramatic lashes.

After comparing these three mascaras, I realised that my choice usually depends on the type of makeup mood I am going for. Sometimes I want soft, everyday lashes, while other days I enjoy a more noticeable effect. I think the best mascara is not only about volume or length — it is the one that fits naturally into the way I like to wear makeup.
