Makeup, for me, isn’t always about going all out. Sometimes it’s just a small touch that changes how I feel when I look in the mirror. Lately, I’ve been leaning toward soft colors, something that feels easy but still a little special.
These two have been my current favorites, especially when I want that effortless kind of look.
1. BASE Aura Wonders Eyeshadow Pink Twilight
This palette feels like a quiet evening sky—soft pinks with a hint of depth. The colors are easy to blend, which I really appreciate because I don’t always have the patience for complicated looks. I usually just sweep one shade across my lids and maybe add a slightly darker tone at the corner. It’s simple, but it gives my eyes that gentle glow, like I actually tried (even when I didn’t). Perfect for days when I want something pretty without overthinking it.

2. TRINNY LONDON Just Joyous Lipstick
This lipstick has such a cheerful energy. The color instantly brightens my face, even if the rest of my makeup is minimal. What I like is how comfortable it feels—it doesn’t sit heavy, and I don’t feel the need to keep checking it every five minutes. I tend to dab it on lightly for a more natural look, but it also works when I want a fuller color. It’s one of those shades that makes you look a bit more awake, a bit more put together.

These two pieces might seem small, but together they create a look that feels soft, fresh, and easy to wear. Nothing too bold, nothing too complicated—just enough to add a bit of color and lift the mood. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to feel a little more like yourself, just with a touch of glow.
