Lately, I’ve been much more interested in makeup that enhances rather than completely covers. I want my skin to still look like skin, my lashes to stay light and defined, and my under-eye area to look fresh without layers of heavy concealer.
These three products fit perfectly into that softer, more polished approach.

Lashes Without Heavy Mascara
The Ordinary Lash Curl Finisher immediately caught my attention because it feels different from a traditional mascara. Instead of focusing on dramatic pigment and volume, it is designed to help lashes look lifted and curled.
I like this idea for minimal makeup days when I want my eyes to look more awake but do not necessarily want an obvious mascara effect. The curved brush also makes sense for this type of product because I can work it through the lashes while encouraging that upward shape.
For me, this is exactly where the current natural-lash look is heading: less heaviness, more separation and a cleaner finish.

The Glow I Actually Want
Makeup by Mario Transforming Skin Perfector is the kind of complexion product I reach for when I want warmth and radiance without obvious sparkle. The compact combines different tones, so I can lightly sweep them together rather than applying a strong block of bronzer or highlighter.
What I like most is the softly diffused effect. I would use it across the cheekbones, temples and anywhere I naturally want a little more warmth. Instead of changing the entire complexion, it makes the skin look more dimensional and naturally illuminated.
This type of subtle glow works especially well with lighter foundations and skin tints because it keeps the finish looking seamless.

A Fresher Under-Eye Look
Colleen Rothschild Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream is probably the product I would use on mornings when I want to look more rested without reaching for a full-coverage concealer.
The tinted formula combines eye-area care with a little cosmetic correction, which fits perfectly into my preference for hybrid beauty products. I would apply a small amount and blend it gently under the eyes, concentrating mainly where I need brightness.
I also like that this kind of product can make the transition between bare skin and makeup look softer than a very opaque concealer.

Together, these three products create exactly the type of makeup I’m enjoying right now: lifted lashes, softly glowing skin and a brighter eye area without making the face look heavily made up. For me, the best beauty trend is not about adding more products—it is about choosing a few that make everything look fresher and more effortless.
