I’ve been loving makeup that perfects the complexion without making it look overly heavy.

Instead of building thick layers, I prefer combining targeted concealing, lightweight base products and a soft-focus finish so my skin still looks like skin.

SCINIC Snail Matrix Cream

I would start with SCINIC Snail Matrix Cream because good makeup always looks better when the skin underneath feels comfortable and hydrated. The formula is presented as a snail secretion extract peptide and panthenol cream, which makes it especially interesting as a prep step before complexion makeup.

For me, the goal here isn’t to create a thick skincare layer. I would use a small amount, let it settle for a few minutes and then move on to makeup. That extra hydration can help foundation or concealer sit more smoothly, especially around areas where my skin tends to look dry or textured.

Cover & Hiding Liquid Concealer

The Cover & Hiding Liquid Concealer is the product I would use only where I actually need extra coverage. I like this approach much more than applying a full layer of heavy foundation across the entire face.

I would place a small amount around the inner corners of my eyes, beside the nose and directly over any redness or blemishes. Then I’d blend it outward with my fingertip or a small brush. Concentrating coverage in specific areas helps keep the overall makeup fresh and much more natural-looking.

What I especially like about liquid concealers is how easy they are to control. A thin layer can brighten and even out the complexion, while another small amount can be added exactly where more coverage is needed.

Elian Lip Product

For the final touch, I would add the soft pink Elian lip product shown in the photo. The muted rosy shade fits perfectly with this kind of understated makeup because it adds color without competing with the rest of the look.

I would wear it as a light layer for a subtle everyday finish or build it slightly in the center of the lips for more dimension. Soft neutral pinks are one of my favorite choices when I want the whole makeup look to feel effortless and balanced.

Why I Like This Combination

This routine follows one of my favorite current beauty directions: less foundation, more strategic complexion work. Hydrated skin, carefully placed concealer and a soft lip make the result look polished without hiding every bit of natural texture.

For me, that is exactly what modern everyday makeup should feel like—simple, flattering and easy to adjust. I don’t need a long routine when a few well-chosen products can make the complexion look fresher and more refined.
