Beauty Hacks

Body care has become one of my favorite parts of my beauty routine because I no longer see it as an afterthought.

I want products that smell good, feel pleasant on the skin and actually make everyday care easier.

The Body Washes

My highest-rated body wash here is Dove Fresh & Smooth, which I gave 9/10. I like the creamy, comforting feel and the way it turns a basic shower into something a little more enjoyable. It is the kind of product I would happily keep in regular rotation.

Grace and Glow Brightening Solution Body Wash scored 8/10. The formula is positioned around niacinamide and glutathione, so I see it as a nice option when I want my body-care routine to feel slightly more targeted rather than purely cleansing.

Elmer Pear & Freesia Body Wash also gets 8/10 from me. What makes this one stand out is the fragrance direction. Pear and freesia give it a clean, fresh, slightly feminine feel that works beautifully for an everyday shower.

The Oils I Keep Reaching For

Johnson’s Baby Oil gets a solid 8/10. I still think simple body oils are underrated, especially when applied to slightly damp skin. They help seal in moisture and leave the skin looking smoother without making the routine complicated.

The real winner for me, though, is Sol de Janeiro Beija Flor Elasti-Body Oil. I jokingly rated it 100/10 because this is the kind of body product that makes skincare feel luxurious. I love using it when I want extra softness and glow, particularly on my arms and legs.

My Deodorant Ranking

Clara Body Odor Block Spray came first in this category with 9/10. I like the spray format because it feels quick and practical, and it fits easily into a morning routine.

Owyskin Gentle Active Guard Anti-Perspirant scored 8/10. It is compact and simple, which makes it especially convenient for travel or carrying in a bag.

The Bath Box Salvia Deodorant came in at 6/10. I like the clean packaging and the botanical-inspired concept, but compared with the other two, it simply didn’t impress me as much.

What I’d Repurchase

If I had to rebuild this routine from scratch, I would immediately repurchase the Dove body wash, the Sol de Janeiro oil and the Clara spray. Together, they cover exactly what I want from body care: cleansing, softness, fragrance and everyday comfort.

For me, that is the real body-care trend right now: fewer forgettable basics and more products that make the routine feel like an actual beauty ritual.
