I have a weakness for fragrances that feel like an experience rather than just another perfume.

These two caught my attention for entirely different reasons: one has an elegant, feminine appearance, while the other offers a distinctive interpretation of a gourmand fragrance.

A Delicate Floral Statement

The first fragrance immediately caught my eye with its beautiful blush-pink bottle, ornate gold detailing and elegant rounded cap. There is something undeniably romantic about its presentation, and I can easily imagine it sitting on a dressing table alongside my favourite jewellery. Although the exact fragrance cannot be identified from the visible part of the bottle, its sophisticated design makes me think of the kind of perfume I would reach for when getting ready for a special occasion. I particularly appreciate fragrances that feel elegant without being overwhelming, especially for daytime events, romantic dinners or occasions when I want my perfume to complement my outfit rather than dominate it. Of course, the scent itself would ultimately determine whether this one earned a permanent place in my collection.

There is something irresistibly indulgent about Kilian Angels' Share Paradis. This richer interpretation of the original Angels' Share combines a distinctive raspberry note with the warmth of cognac, rose and comforting gourmand accords. The fruity opening introduces a playful sweetness, while the deeper ligneous and amber nuances create a more sophisticated, enveloping character. The pink bottle brings a romantic, decorative appeal, although I would need to identify and try the fragrance before judging its character. Angels' Share Paradis, meanwhile, offers a more clearly defined experience, pairing fruity sweetness with rich warmth. For evenings when I want my fragrance to make an impression, its expressive gourmand composition is particularly tempting.
