Some perfumes become part of my everyday routine, while others are reserved for moments when I want to feel a little more dressed up.

Press Gurwitz No. 8
The first fragrance that catches my attention is Press Gurwitz No. 8 Eau de Toilette, presented in a minimalist glass bottle with an amber-coloured liquid and a metallic gold cap. Its understated design has a slightly vintage appeal, making it an attractive addition to a dressing table. As an eau de toilette, it is the one I would explore for daytime wear, particularly when I want a fragrance that complements my outfit without becoming its main feature. I would start with a light application and see how the scent develops throughout the day, rather than relying on its concentration alone to judge its longevity.
Dolce & Gabbana Devotion
Dolce & Gabbana Devotion has a distinctly indulgent personality, combining candied citrus with orange blossom and vanilla. The contrast between the bright opening and the creamy sweetness gives it a warm, gourmand character without making it purely sugary. I particularly associate this kind of fragrance with cooler evenings, cosy restaurants and occasions when I want something comforting yet sophisticated. The slim travel spray pictured here is especially convenient for keeping in a handbag, while the miniature bottle, decorated with the collection's signature Sacred Heart, adds a more luxurious touch. I would choose Devotion whenever I was in the mood for a sweeter fragrance with a noticeable presence.
Ultimately, these fragrances serve different purposes in my collection. Press Gurwitz No. 8 is the one I would explore for a more understated daytime mood, while Devotion offers a richer, sweeter alternative for evenings, colder weather and special occasions.
