K-Beauty Toner Hype

A few years ago, I honestly thought toner was just “extra water” in a skincare routine. I used to skip it all the time because I didn’t really understand the point.

Then K-beauty completely changed my opinion. After trying essence toners, I finally understood why people are obsessed with that healthy glowing skin look.

These two Korean essence toners are some of the most talked-about products lately, and after trying them myself… I totally get the hype.

1. Numbuz:n No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner

The first thing I noticed was the texture. It’s definitely thicker than a normal watery toner, almost like a lightweight essence. I personally love this kind of texture because it feels more nourishing on dry skin days. Whenever my skin starts feeling dry, dull, or tired, this is the toner I reach for immediately. It gives such a juicy hydrated look to the skin without feeling sticky or heavy afterward.

My skin always looks more plump and glowy the next morning whenever I use this consistently. I was also happy that my skin didn’t react badly to it at all because fermented skincare can sometimes be a little unpredictable depending on skin type.

2. Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water

Compared to the Numbuz:n toner, this one feels much more lightweight and watery. The packaging is honestly so pretty in a calm elegant way. I really love the antique-inspired label because it matches the whole Beauty of Joseon aesthetic perfectly. It feels simple but still looks luxurious sitting on a skincare shelf.

This essence feels incredibly refreshing, especially for oily or combination skin. It absorbs so quickly and leaves zero greasy feeling behind, which makes it perfect for layering with other skincare products.

Both of these toners give completely different experiences depending on what your skin likes. The Numbuz:n toner feels richer and glowier, while the Beauty of Joseon essence feels lighter and fresher. Personally, I can see why both products became so viral because they genuinely make the skin look healthier and more hydrated over time.
