Hi, Lykkers! Flat hair days can be so frustrating, especially when the hair looks like it has absolutely no interest in cooperating.

I’ve been loving a couple of products that make my routine feel a little more exciting, especially when I want extra volume and stronger-looking hair. They each have a different job, but both are worth having on the shelf.

1. NEXXUS Volume Mousse

This is my little secret when my hair needs more volume right after the shower. I like working the mousse through damp hair before styling because it gives the roots a boost and helps my hair look fuller. The texture also makes it easy to spread through the hair without turning the routine into a whole production. A little styling, a little blow-drying, and suddenly my hair has much more life. For anyone who loves that bouncy, freshly styled look, this mousse is definitely one I’d keep around.

2. NIOXIN Density Mask

My second pick is all about giving the hair some extra care. NIOXIN Density Mask is designed to help strengthen the hair and reduce breakage, which makes it a nice addition when my strands need more conditioning attention. I like using a mask when I want to slow down and give my hair a little extra TLC. Rather than treating it like an everyday step, I’d work it into my wash routine when my hair feels like it needs more care.
