How I Get Shiny Hair!

Welcome, Lykkers! I’m always looking for that glossy, healthy-looking shine without making my hair feel heavy or greasy.

After trying a few different products, I found a little routine that gives me the finish I want, especially when I’m styling my hair.

1. Color Wow Dream Coat

I start with Dream Coat on damp hair. Since it’s heat activated, I don’t expect the full effect right away. I spray it through my damp hair first, then blow-dry everything. After that, I use either a curling iron or straightener to finish my style. Once my hair is completely dry and styled, I notice a much smoother, shinier finish. It’s become one of my favorite steps when I want my hair to look extra polished.

2. Gisou Hair Serum

Next, I like adding a hair serum, especially through my ends. I love having a serum around when my ends are looking a little dry or damaged. It helps my hair feel smoother and more cared for, while also giving it a beautiful shine once it settles. I don’t need much product either, so I try to keep the amount light and focus mainly on the lengths and ends.

3. Dae Leave-In Conditioner

I also love using the Dae leave-in conditioner. I like applying it before styling because it helps make detangling much easier and leaves my hair feeling softer. Once my hair dries, I get that pretty glossy finish I’m always trying to achieve. It’s especially nice when my hair feels like it needs a little extra conditioning.

Using all three together has been my favorite way to get smoother, shinier-looking hair that still feels soft and manageable. I start with the Dream Coat, follow with my styling routine, then use my serum and leave-in conditioner as needed. For me, shiny hair is all about the little steps. When my hair feels healthy, smooth, and hydrated, the shine seems to take care of itself.
