Eye makeup has always been the most enjoyable part of my routine because it completely changes the mood of a look. Some palettes feel playful, while others are perfect for soft everyday styles.

These two eyeshadow products give very different impressions, and that’s exactly why I like having both around. Depending on the occasion, I can go for something dreamy and expressive or keep everything simple and effortless.

Romeo & Juliet Love Story Vol. 2

This palette immediately caught my attention because of its romantic color selection. The shades feel warm, soft, and slightly dramatic at the same time, almost like they were designed to create storytelling through makeup. I love how the colors blend together smoothly without looking too intense too quickly. What makes this palette enjoyable is the variety of finishes. Compared to the Romeo & Juliet palette, this one feels more minimal and practical for daily use. The compact size makes it easy to carry around, and the shades are very beginner-friendly. Sometimes I don’t want to spend too much time thinking about color combinations, and this quad makes everything easier because every shade already works well together. The texture feels soft on the eyelids, and the colors build nicely without becoming patchy.

Both palettes bring different energy into a makeup routine. Romeo & Juliet Love Story Vol. 2 feels expressive and artistic, while the Y.O.U Simplicity Eyeshadow Quad 02 offers a more relaxed and effortless approach. Having both honestly makes eye makeup more exciting because there’s always an option that fits the mood of the day.
