I’ve learned the hard way that not every eyeshadow is meant to travel. Some are too bulky, some too fragile, and some just don’t make sense when you’re trying to pack light.

Over time, I started paying attention to which palettes actually make it into my bag—and more importantly, which ones I actually use when I’m away from home. These four somehow earned their spot.

1. ESQA – For Natural Glam Makeup Look

This is the one I pack when I don’t want to think too much. The shades feel safe, in a good way—soft neutrals that always seem to work no matter the outfit or occasion. I’ve used it in hotel rooms with bad lighting, in a rush before heading out, even in the backseat of a car. It never really lets me down. It’s like that reliable piece in your wardrobe you keep going back to.

2. Pinkflash – For Glittery Makeup Look

This one feels like a little fun tucked into my bag. The glitter shades instantly change the mood, even if the rest of my makeup is simple. I don’t use it every day, but when I do, it’s usually for moments when I want something extra—dinner plans, late nights, or just when I feel like switching things up. It’s small, but it brings a lot of personality.

3. Somethinc – For Glamorous and Unique Makeup Look

This palette feels more expressive, like it gives me space to experiment even when I’m away from home. The shades are a bit more daring, and I like that it pushes me out of my usual routine. Sometimes I’ll pack it thinking I won’t use it much, but then end up reaching for it when I get bored of the usual looks. It keeps things interesting, especially on longer trips.

4. Saniye – For Natural Daily Makeup Look

This one is simple, almost understated, but that’s exactly why it works so well for travel. It’s easy, quick, and doesn’t require much effort to make it look good. I usually grab this when I know I’ll be busy or just don’t have the energy to spend time blending and layering. It gets the job done without asking too much from me.

Having that balance makes everything feel less stressful and a bit more enjoyable. In the end, it’s not about creating perfect looks — it’s about making the process feel effortless, wherever you are.
