Battle of Sunscreen!

Let’s talk about something we all need but sometimes forget to get excited about: sunscreen. I used to just grab whatever was closest, but lately I’ve been paying more attention, especially to how it feels on my skin throughout the day.
So here’s my little “battle” between two sunscreens I’ve been switching between.
1. A’pieu Madecassoside Sunscreen
This one feels like that quiet comfort you didn’t know you needed. The first thing I noticed was how calming it feels when applied—almost like giving your skin a small break in the middle of a hectic routine. It spreads easily and doesn’t leave that heavy layer that makes you constantly aware you’re wearing sunscreen. On days when my skin feels a bit sensitive or just not in the mood for anything complicated, I tend to reach for this.

2. Axis-Y Complete No Stress Physical Sunscreen
Now this one has a slightly different personality. It feels more intentional, like you’re putting on something that really wants to do its job well. The texture is a bit thicker compared to A’pieu, but once you blend it out, it settles nicely. What I like is how it gives a soft, almost velvety finish—it makes my skin look a little more even, even on days when I didn’t sleep enough. There’s a subtle tone-up effect too, which I didn’t expect at first, but ended up appreciating.

Sunscreen isn’t just about protection—it’s also about comfort, mood, and how it fits into your routine. Some days you want light and effortless, other days you want something that feels a little more “complete.” And having both options? That just makes getting ready a bit more interesting.
